Geocache Description:

One of a series of simple, easy to find, caches at railway stations in and around the Manawatu.

Welcome aboard the MCC's Sanson tramway service to Sanson! Last stop Makowhai, next stop Sanson. Service also leaves here for the Speedy Line gravel pit, next stop the Speedy Line Pit.

Yet another small shelter shed and platform. Built in September 1885.

Warning: The rail has been removed, State Highway 1 has been widened and its drainage improved. Parking is not the best. Please take care!
