As we have motored around our county, we have come across some very interesting areas. This is one like that. The state has graciously provided a rest area on each side of I-73/74. They also are very near the Randolph County boundary line. While finding the boundary line sign is quite easy, finding this cache will take some effort and you will also see another rare part of the boundary,as we did. Park in the southern most parking area of the rest stop. From there, you will walk down the hill and cross the rest area exit road to the trailhead. Please use caution! I have tried to find the shortest route through the downhill vegetation to the woods below. If you travel straight south for about 300 feet, you will see the boundary. Now go left about 100 feet to find the hide. It is a camoed coffee can with a log book and swag. OR you can go directly toward it through more denser forest. It works both ways.
