Welcome to "The 2013 Night-Time Mystery Event". As stated above, please put this cache on your Watch List as information will be added as the date draws closer that you will want to stay abreast of. Also, the author link of this page links to myself, itcomagic, but the entire event is a team effort consisting of: Wrath557 & godzirra!.
First, the meeting location is listed on cache page. The starting time is 7:30pm and it will last for three hours. It will be, on the surface, a tail-gating type situation. We will have a grill set up and we will be making hot dogs. Also, we will provide condiments, soft drinks, plates and cups. Attendees are encouraged to bring items to share in the pot-luck style tradition such as chips, deli items, etc.
Now, on to below the surface. We cannot give much away without spoiling the mood of the event. However, there are certain aspects that must be addressed for the sake of safety and full disclosure to those who plan to attend.
First, Animals / Pets are not allowed unless they are an "assistance animal". If you are visually competent your pet will be asked to vacate the premises.
Second, this cache will challenge you both physically and emotionally. It is not for the faint of heart. It is a night cache so please bring proper equipment for such a challenge. You have been warned.
Third, those 'Attributes' on the right side of your page are there for a reason. Read them. They are important.
Fourth, we have learned from last year's event; there will be three groups that enter the special cache. Each group will spend no more than one hour attempting the special cache. If you cannot stay late, please let us know so that we can put you into the early group. If you can stay late, let us know so that we can place you into the later group.
Last, those who do complete the challenge cache will be eligible for some special awards provided by your hosts at the end of the challenge.
