Geocache Description:

To celebrate the first trackable in space we are having a TB celebration. To be able to claim a badge for this exclusive trackable you must attend an event in its honor. The Trackable will be rocketing off to space while we are celebrating.

What better way to celebrate a trackable going to space them to get a group of geocachers together to trade TB's and play space themed games and go on a star search in the dark with new and old cache buddies.

  We will begin at 8:30pm for meet and greet and discovering TB's. Please bring TBs to SWAP as well. We will be releasing numerous new bugs that night all with a space related theme.  We will go on a star hunt for a new series of caches being prereleased to attendees that night. We will award prizes in numerous out of this world categories at 11:00pm.

Things to bring;

hand held GPS (the caches will not be on the geocaching site so you need the ability to put in cords to arrive at these caches)

 good shoes people we are caching

Water LOTS of water

flashlight... its dark people

please bring TB's for others to discover and swap

This star series will not release until the 7th so attendees will have the opportunity for first to finds.   Geocaching is heading towards the International Space Station (ISS). All of geocaching? No, not all of it, but a very special little Travel Bug® named TB5JJN1 is tagging along with Nasa astronaut Rick Mastracchio on his mission to the ISS. Mastracchio will be using the Travel Bug as an educational tool to help teach students around the world about geography and geocaching. Mastraccio will Rocket into Space on November 7, 2013 (GMT). Every geocacher who attends a Geocaching Event on November 6 or 7, 2013 will be awarded a “Geocaching in Space” souvenir.
