luck for the fishermen #6 Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

ih16: I am archiving this cache because nature seems to disagree with it. We have replaced the container numerous times but when the rocks shift, it disappears.
Some of you may have noticed that this account was inactive for a while. I was gone due to some personal problems, but am glad to say that I am back and better than ever! Look for some new caches from me as well as updates on the condition of my other caches. Thank you so much for your patience and I hope to see some of you out there soon.

Geocache Description:

Cache is NOT at the listed coordinates. To find this cache, you must solve the puzzle.

My mom and I love to spend hours together trying to catch fish. We wanted to bring you to some of the places we have had good luck.

The Green Bay area is recognized as our State’s best fishery for large Walleye, huge Bass and giant Musky. There is also tributary rivers within less than 1 hour from Green Bay, that flow into Lake Michigan waters that yield annual runs of fish like salmon and trout.

The puzzle:.

Four neighbors named Ray, Ralph, Rhonda, and Rita decided to have a block party. Each neighbor brought different foods: tuna, salmon, herring, and smelt. Each neighbor brought one type of drink:lemonade, apple juice, iced tea, and coffee. The neighbors had different amounts of money to spend on the party. Based on the clues, match the neighbors with their budgets, food, and drinks.

  1. The neighbor with $448 brought 44 cans of tuna, and 19 carafes of coffee.
  2. The neighbor with $672 brought 10 pitchers of lemonade and 43 jars of pickled herring.
  3. Ray's budget was not $445 or $672. Rhonda's budget was not those either.
  4. Rita did not bring 43 jars of pickled herring. Ray did not bring 87 slices of smoked salmon. The neighbor with $977 brought 88 fried smelt and 9 bottles of apple juice.
  5. The neighbor with $742 brought 18 bottles of iced tea and 87 slices of smoked salmon.
  6. Rita lives on the north end of the block; Ray lives on the west end.
