This can be accessed by car, there are several small pull ins to park but walking to this one is so much more pleasurable and i'd highly recommend the on foot option, whether it be over the fields, through the woodland or just following the road, try and walk. There are several other Geocache in this area so go for the lot in one go ;)
By car, head towards Prudhoe High School and continue up Moor Road passing Moorlands estate, continue down the back road passing Ferndene, Burn House, Durham Riding and over a stone bridge, you can park just after the bridge, or continue further up the road to a small rough gravelled area where you can park, the cache is located not far on foot from here. No climbing or clambering, no rough terrain, easy one for adults and kids alike. This one is located along a country road, not an awful lot of traffic but please keep any Geo-Kids to the side, there is the occasional passing vehicle, keep safe.
