Geocache Description:

Late in the summer and early fall the steams and rivers around Kootenay Lake turn red with the spawning Kokanee Salmon. (Redfish) Spawning channels have been built to increase the probability of successful spawning. This is a great spot to see the fish making their way to spawn.
