This cache is placed in a small woodland between the cycleway and the London Way portion of the A6. Although the adjacent cycleway can be busy with commuters, the woodland and surrounding footpaths are quieter and a lovely stroll can be had here at all times of the year, although it can get pretty muddy so bring suitable footwear.
ALTHOUGH THE PATH COMES OUT ONTO THE A6 QUITE CLOSE TO THE CACHE, YOU CANNOT PARK THERE. Please approach from the direction of our other cache, Helix pomatia: GC4Q3M6, or from the entrance to the cycleway on Todd Lane North (coordinates provided below).
When it's dry, this cache is accessible with a pushchair if you approach from Helix pomatia, or if you prefer a longer walk and/or you are starting from Todd Lane North, stay on the cycle path (continuing past the steep path on the right near the pond and another path that leads into the trees at the bottom of an incline) until you are almost at the A6 (you'll come out at a roundabout if you go too far) before following the GPS signal to the cache.
