Ser du et stort TROLL på nordsiden av veien, så er du ved Dyranut Fjellstova.
Dyranut ligger på det høyeste punktet (1240 moh) langs Rv 7, Nasjonal Turistveg over Hardangervidda. Herfra har du panoramautsikt over Nord-Europas største høgfjellsplatå.
Hardangervidda er eit fantastisk område for turgåing. Dyranut ligger midt i løypenettet til DNT både sommer og vinter. Med utgangspunkt fra Dyranut kan du ta noen fantastiske naturopplevelser mot Kjeldebu eller mot Stigstuv og Trondsbu. Der er også flotte fiskevann og mulighet for rypejakt i terrenget rundt.
When you can see a large troll on the north side of the road, you have arrived at "Dyranut Fjellstove". "Dyranut" is situated at the highest point (1240 meters over sea level) along "Rv 7", the national tourist road over "Hardangervidda". From here, you have a panoramic view over the highest mountain-plateau in northern europe. "Hardangervidda" is a fantastic area for mountain hiking. "Dyranut" is situated right in the middle of the trail-network used by "The Norwegian Tourist Union". There are different trails, used both during the summer and winter season. With "Dyranut" as your starting point, you will have access to fantastic nature experiences towards "Kjeldebu", "Stigsuv" or towards "Trondsbu". There are waters for fishing, as well as possibilities for grouse hunting in the surrounding area.
