Geocache Description:

Welcome to all earthlings and space visitors. Come for flying saucer pie or just come to chat and see the launch (if the earthbound tech works right!). Or you can check out the recording later and celebrate the geocaching community’s spirit of exploration. Check out the Related Web Page link above to read more.

We will be there starting around 6pm-ish to about 8:30pm. The launch is scheduled for shortly after 8pm.

Geocaching launches into space taking a TB along for the ride. The destination is the ISS and GC1BE91, the most elusive of all caches.

Every geocacher who attends this or another Geocaching Event on November 6 or 7, 2013 will be awarded a “Geocaching in Space” souvenir.

***This can be the Star Trek meets Star Wars meets Pigs in Space meets the green alien guy from the ET highway. Theme participation in some way will get you a bonus raffle ticket. Also, bring along all of your space related coins and travel bugs to share.***

Please NOTE there is another Space Event (GC4PVEQ) on the same day at the north end of Sacramento. We are not attempting to compete with this event, just offer an alternative at the east end of civilization for those who cannot make it across Sacramento due to traffic and work hours. Have fun no matter which event you choose to attend!!!
