Yufuin Station is a railway station on the Kyudai Main Line, operated by JR Kyushu.
There is a Foot Spa on the platform.
This cache is located on the front of station. The terrain is easy, But be careful enough around.
Please enjoy the walk while hunting for the cache. Good luck and Happy Hunting!

タイトルの字が違う! 湯布院だろ! と、言われる方もいるかもしれませんね。でもこれがこの駅の正式な字です。
大正14年の駅開業当時の町名は由布院町でしたが、昭和30年に湯平村と合併して湯布院町となりました。
しかし駅名も温泉名(源泉)も昔のままで変わることなく、由布院駅、由布院温泉です。 しつこいですが、湯布院温泉は存在しません。
でもイメージが良いこともあって、最近の温泉街の店や宿には湯布院の文字が多いですね。
そして更に複雑なことに、平成17年に3町 (湯布院町,庄内町,挾間町) が合併して由布市になりました。
ですが、湯布院町の町名は存続のため由布院駅の場所は、由布市湯布院町になりました。 あ～ムズイですね。。
地元の方々も経緯の説明に疲れたのか、このような背景から駅舎には平仮名で『ゆふいん驛』と書かれています。
最近はアルファベット表示のお店もありますよ!。
由来はさておき、キャッシュと温泉を楽しんで下さい。 サイズはマイクロですが、簡単な場所に隠れています。
