The major motorways in sydney bring people toward the city from the west and southwest. They have a series of interconnecting roads that funnel the people around within those catchments. Centenary drive is the beginning of a road that links the M4 at homebush to the M5 at beverly hills. the cache is in a means to safely transport people across that road. It is situated near a large market complex.
