Geocache Description:

CACHE Container is a stand alone! Please do not take with you! We thought it would break up the trip for you!

Doing the Eldorado Power trail that there is a group of caches dedicated to the branches of the Armed services along the trail. Well we noticed a couple of services missing here so we thought we would stand up & represent the service all of us have a connection to. Myself(USCGBrad), AZCoastie, and his wife (my sister) are all retired Coasties! Plus must mention the spouses of all Vets as they are the ones who probably sacrifice the most!

To access the log look on the back of the cache look for the monkey. Slide door to the left to access the log container. Inside there is room for small trackables. Original contents USCG Trackable Coin & some good Coast Guard related SWAG. Please keep it this way.

A little about the U.S. Coast Guard. Established in 1790, it is the oldest seagoing service.  The U.S. Coast Guard has participated in every war along with our other services. Averaging a force around 36,000 strong it is smaller than the NYPD! One thing we all enjoyed about our time in was the varying missions & the camaraderie. Missions include Law Enforcement, Search & Rescue, Environmental Protection, Ice Breaking, & Aids to Navigation.  Semper Paratus!!!
