Geocache Description:

Park at 42 33.251 73 05.106

My friend Barry E took on the task of finding all 22 boundary markers for the town of Cheshire, and put all of his efforts and research into a booklet ( available at Reynolds store in Cheshire). In locating this particular marker, originally placed in 1911,he found that it had fallen and was buried under the "leaves of times". Righting it required the effort of three volunteers including jimboy29, Ron W and Barry. The marker weighed several hundred lbs. The cache is a pill bottle with log and pencil. Also, since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, my wife put in a very nice BCA pin for the FTF. Cache is located about 200 ft off the trail, an easy walk with a little bushwacking near GZ. Be sure to notice the Cheshire-Savoy-Windsor marker, and imagine what this area looked like 100 yrs ago. Go and get it...if you DARE! 👻👻👻🎃🎃🎃!

Congratulations to fkrol on FTF ...
