Heading north towards Beatrice, NE, for a geocaching/bicycling adventure weekend of my own over this Columbus Day Weekend. Been wanting to place a cache at this spot for a loooonnngggg time, finally decided to stop and place a very early morning cache.
Nice little prairie cemetery with the headstones poking up through the tall prairie grass. To get to this spot, travel north/south on US Hwy 77 between the towns of Waterville/Randolph, KS, until it intersects with Cyclone Lane. Cyclone Lane will be a hard-top road. Turn east onto Cyclone Lane and travel roughly 3 miles (approximate) until it intersects with 6th Road. 6th Road will be a well-maintained gravel road. Turn north onto 6th Road and travel until you reach the intersection with Bobcat Lane.
Cemetery will be on northeast corner of road; a large shed will be on southeast corner; and a historical marker for the Pleasant Hill School district (see photo) will be on the northwest corner.
Overhead cover may affect GPS readings - you have been warned.
Remember that this is a cemetery and please observe any/all rules/regulations that may be present and that we have all read on other page write-ups concerning these types of locations.
