Geocache Description:

This cache was an imprompu placed cache after hiking out to and finding 'Good Luck!' by Choosytwo (GC38CCV). I'm not a fan of placing micros in general. I'm even less a fan of hiding micros in the woods. This location would be great for a larger cache. However, all we had was micro containers and I'm not hiking back here to replace it just because I don't like the size.

That having been said, we made this a really easy find. The challenge will be getting to it. Suggested parking coordinates are included, though there may be other directions to approach this cache from.

The cache is a film canister sized container hidden in what looks to be a bored hole approximately three inches in diameter in the front face of a small rock outcrop. It should not be difficult to find.

We decided to place this cache when we stopped to rest after finding the previously mentioned cache by Choosytwo. By this point we had decended over 700 feet of elevation, crossed the creek, climb up another 500 feet of elevation, came back down and begun the long climb back up the first 700 feet! M3a9 proclaimed "Where the heck is the ski lift!!?"

A cache was born.

This cache owns its existence, first, to the excellent cache on the opposite side of the valley placed by Choosytwo; second to m3a9 and sweavers for the great time we had along the way. Enjoy the cache, and please be careful. Happy Caching!

As with any arduous trek, please plan ahead before attempting this cache. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for rough terrain and steep elevation changes. I highly recommend footwear that will protect your ankles.

DO NOT attempt this cache during inclement weather.

This can be a challenging adventure; you will be exerting some energy. Do not attempt this if you are not in good physical health. Always let someone know where you are going and when you plan to return. I highly recommend doing this with a partner or group (for safety, but mostly to share the experience).

If you have any problems, comments, questions or need help with a puzzle or finding a cache, please feel free to contact me through my profile. I love to hear from cachers and like to see 'found it' logs on my caches.
