This is a great viewpoint and the former location of a cache called Amazing Maze of Trails.
I had a lot of fun getting to it the first time.
From the trailhead it is a 2 km hike to the cache.
A trail leads into the forest from here and follows the ridge to the summit of Vedder Mountain.
From here it is just over a kilometre to the top from and would save you hiking about 10 km following the traditional ridge route from the east.
