This cache takes you to a interesting historical spot that would be easy to drive by.
The starting point will take you to a plaque at Tarling Well east of Wickerpin. Here you will find a plaque with the information that will lead you to the cache. The final location of the cache is at S 32 48.ABC, E 117 24.DEF Tarling Well was built around 1??? this number minus 697 = ABC The year that the surrounding area was opened to free settelment 189D The year of Australian European foundation 1E88 The year a railhead was established in the town site of Wickerpin 190? minus 7 = F I hope you enjoy my cache. I have spent many trips driving past this spot and was pleasantly surprised by the history when I stopped in for the first time. Be sure to wear some mozzie repellent as they are quite friendly here. Cache is co-maintained by Adinache In September 2015 I changed the location of the cache slightly and updated the description to reflect this. I removed some of the steps to make this one a bit easier. Please be gentle with the cache container as it is one of a kind. Reattach the container cover from the top to the bottom. To protect the integrity and allow others the surprise of this unique find, please no photos or hints in your logs.
