Geocache Description:

Geocaching is heading towards the International Space Station (ISS). A special Travel Bug is tagging along with NASA astronaut Rick Mastracchio on his mission to the ISS.

Come and join us at a Flash Mob!

We will be at the above coordinates for 15 minutes from 18:30 to 18:45 on Wednesday 6th November. There will be time to swap stories and trackables. It is quite an exposed location so come prepared for all eventualities.

We chose Steamer Point for the event due the historical significance of this location. This was the site of the first British military communication satellite station – what better location to celebrate Geocaching going into space!

Parking is very close by and as it is the 'Winter Period' the car park is free. The location is wheelchair accessible.
