Geocache Description:

A short while ago I started exploring the area north of Cool on foot where bicycles are not allowed (my favorite way is on bicycle but I kept running into the No bikes signs). As the trail I was on approached Hwy 49 I found this cache W.T.R Trail Intersection and after looking down at my GPS and seeing no caches I opted to back out and take the next trail where Lo and Behold I came across the other end. The sign at the cache had called it the Auburn Shortcut Trail.

When I got home that night I got to thinking that I should do something there and came up with a plan. A few days later I loaded an Ammo Can and several Decon Containers in the backpack and headed out. After finding a nice place for the Ammo Can I headed down to the Auburn Shortcut Trail and placed four caches along it.

Those four are traditionals with information you will need to get to the Bonus Cache. Each one of the Auburn Shortcut Trail caches has a number written on the outside, inside lid and the cover of the log book. Write that number down and use it to locate this Bonus cache.

All containers along the trail are Decon Containers and the final is an Ammo Can.

The best place to park is where the flag is for the Bonus Cache.
