Geocache Description:

Located at the Bangor City Forest, another Geocache to enjoy searching for while enjoying all the Forrest has to offer throughout all seasons. Enjoy great hiking, jogging and biking during the warmer months and outstanding Cross-Country skiing during the winter. You will see all sorts of wildlife while greeted by friendly folks you will most certainly encounter while out on the trails.

Please utilize stealth while seeking this cache. You could easily be spotted. Much like the majority of the caches within the Forrest, Stealth is important. Cache is located just off the East/West Loop Trail which is easily found off the Tripp Drive parking area where plenty of parking is always available. I have walked the 3.8 mile loop for years and have recently enjoyed finding all the great Geocaches hidden throughout this area and there are many. On the day I placed the Cache I had all my tools, GPS, Cache container, pen, notebook while attempting to find the right place for the Cache. I quickly learned just how many Caches were hidden throughout the Forrest, on and off the many trails, each time I thought I found a great hiding spot I discovered there was already a Cache hidden in that very spot! I was finally able to find a great spot toward the end of the East/West Trail. Enjoy!
