PEC#11-Can you find me?? Traditional Cache

DayzLikeThese*U n ME: Decided to archive this one for a couple reasons. The attachment mechanism just kept failing for some reason so it kept falling off and the log kept disappearing because of it. Finally I'm just not happy with the location. After talking to other geocachers, it's just a dangerous area to search for a cache. The other caches along this mini-trail allow you to at least search a little bit away from the road. This one required you to be right next to the busy road and that's just worrisome.

Hopefully I can modify this cache and place it somewhere else. Thanks to all that found it!

Welcome to the Pasadena Evil Cache Series! Most of these caches will not be recommended for beginners. Some will be easier than others but some may be super DUPER evil! No need to do any of these in order, the numbers are just for reference.Tweezers are pretty much a must for most of these as is your own writing utensil. The point of these caches are to 1) Populate Pasadena with more urban/low terrain caches; 2) Get you out to see some parts of Pasadena you may not have known about; and 3) Get your brain thinking outside the normal geocaching box! This may not be for you if you only enjoy finding lock n locks in the woods or mag key boxes in guard rails.

This cache is actually part of a mini-geotrail inside a geotrail. There are a total of 5 caches along this little stretch of Ft. Smallwood that are ours. I recommend parking at the gas station or the lot next to it and start your walk from there. I'd also have to recommend leaving the kids out on this little mini-trail due to the high traffic on this road. Also because of this we ask you to use as much stealth as possible, we factored this into the diff ratings ofcourse. You will have to cross Ft. Smallwood a couple times to obtain them all so please PLEASE be careful. Only thing I can tell you on this one is you probably dont have to venture as far off the side of the road as the map will lead you to believe. Please use your best judgement on how this cache needs to be put back, it's pretty obvious how it needs to sit, place this cache back carefully and as best as possible. We visited these caches multiple times to obtain the best coords possible, hopefully they are pretty good. As always any problems or concerns just email us and if you need a hint just log your DNF to give us some info and we will be glad to oblige!
