The date also coincides with Geocaching in Space Day when, assuming that there are no delays, a travel bug is being taken to the Internation Space Station by NASA Astronaut Robert Mastracchio. Groundspeak will be awarding a "Geocaching in Space Souvenir" for every Geocacher who attends a Geocaching event on the 6th or 7th of November, 2013. The venue seemed appropriate.
Following a bit of a gap in the East Berkshire events schedule and with the nights drawing in (don't mention the C word) it feels like a good time to get together to socialise and discuss our latest antics and get a few pointers on those tricky puzzles and even those dreaded DNF's.
If you have never been to a geocaching event before you will be most welcome and it would be lovely to meet you. We're a very friendly bunch and don't bite much, so don't be shy!
For those who came to JJEF's excellent event here back in June I think that you will agree that it was a great venue offering good food and beer and there is ample parking around the back.
