Aoba Shrine is a beautiful shrine that is home to the old leader of Date-han (present day Sendai). Date Masamune was a man well known for his cleverness and trademark eye patch. This shrine is the starting point of the Aoba Festival.
It suffered some damage from the 2011 earthquake but has not lost any of its charm. There is a small pond in the back and many trees.
Turn left from the stairs and follow the path in the woods. The cache is in a small black bag. Be sure to bring a pen, use stealth and try the quiz. Include your quiz answer when you log your find below. Enjoy!
