Event Cache to celebrate Geocaching in Space
Date: Wednesday 6 November 2013
Time: 16:30 to 17:30
Location: Candies Community Cafe, Tullibody Civic Centre

A travel bug is being taken to the International Space Station by NASA Astronaut Robert Mastracchio who will live aboard the International Space Station for six months. The launch is due to take place from Kazakhstan at 4.08am GMT on 7 November 2013 which will be 6 November at 8.08pm in Los Angeles.
Geocaching HQ will issue a Geocaching in Space souvenir to those who attend Event Caches during the launch (6 and 7 November) so we are inviting you to come along and join us for this short family-friendly event.
What are we planning?
A get together for local geocachers to meet up and create an "Out of Space" geocache, so please bring along any space-related items to put in as swaps. We will hold a draw at the end of the event to decide who goes and hides it so that the rest of us can go and find it!
Candies Community Cafe is part of a local Social Firm that was set up to help local people with additional support needs to gain transferrable skills which helps them in their day to day lives and prepares them for the job market. The cafe opens on 28 October and so far, we are their first event so please come along and support them! Candies will be serving hot and cold drinks, home baking and light snacks.
Hope to see you there!
