Geocaching Travel Bug® is hitching a ride with astronaut
Rick Mastracchio straight to the International Space Station. The mission is currently scheduled to launch from Kazakhstan at 4:08 GMT on November 7, which is 5:08 a.m. in Berlin and November 6 at 8:08 p.m. in Los Angeles. (Convert to your time

Rick will live aboard the ISS for 6 months. He plans to use the Travel Bug as a tool to teach students on Earth, in his home state of Connecticut, about geography and science. He’ll also earn the Solar System’s most elusive smiley and find the International Space Station geocache.
We’ll be following Rick the whole way, beginning at liftoff. Ready for some more pizzazz? Geocaching HQ will issue a Geocaching in Space souvenir to those who attend Event Caches during the launch. You can watch the launch live online or check out the recording later and celebrate the geocaching community’s spirit of exploration.

Um was geht es?
Nachdem der o.g. Astronaut Richard Mastracchio am 6./7. November drei Jahre nach Publish des Caches in der International Space Station dort einen FTF machen wird (in unserer Gegend hätte er keine dreißig Minuten Zeit dafür gehabt 
) und dort einen TB platziert, werden auch wir in Trier dies mit einem Event würdigen.
Was wird gemacht?
Wir treffen uns um 18.30h im Bitburger Wirtshaus am Kornmarkt, um in geselliger Runde zu feiern.
Gegen 19.45h kann jeder der möchte in ein -noch zu bestimmendes- Trierer Kino mitkommen, wo wir dann gemeinsam den zum Eventrahmen thematisch passenden Film "Gravity" anschauen.
Das "Eventlogbuch" werde ich ab ca. 19h bis zum Ende des Films bereit halten.
Was muss ich tun?
Ihr müsst lediglich in eurem "Will attend-Log" bis zum 31. Oktober angeben mit wievielen Personen ihr kommen wollt und ob ihr mit in´s Kino kommt. Außerdem solltet ihr bei Interesse das Event-Listing auf eure Beobachtungsliste nehmen, um so besser über die noch festzulegenden Dinge informiert zu sein.
Wie geht es weiter?
In Abhängigkeit der Teilnehmerzahl werde ich Plätze in einer nahegelegenen Kneipe oder Café reservieren. Im Bitburger Witshaus ist die "Scheune" für uns reserviert.
Das Gleiche gilt für das Kino: In welches Kino wir gehen ist abhängig davon, wo der Film "Gravity" am 6. November gegen 20h gezeigt wird. Dies kann also sowohl im Cinemaxx, als auch im Broadway sein und wird erst eine Woche vorher festgelegt. Da der Film ab dem 6.11. nicht mehr in Trier zu sehen ist, fällt dieser Programmpunkt leider weg.
