Geocache Description:

Yeesh! Has it really been over two years since I hosted an event? (What is that Lennon quote? "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans"?)

Let's see how many feet we can pack into The Yard for a geocaching social. No specific plans have been made other than to get together to gab, compare caching notes, trade trackables, swap stories, and the like. Come to The Yard at historic Old Sacred Heart Hospital (aka Tower East) in the East Hill neighborhood of Pensacola. We'll meet outside at The East Hill Yard to enjoy some great food and camaraderie.

The Yard has plenty of outdoor seating with inside seating available in case of rain. Parking is plentiful, wi-fi is available, a bike rack is located on the south side of the main parking lot, and (get this!) dogs are allowed in the outdoor eating area. If you bring your geo-dog, please make sure that its vaccinations are up to date and keep your dog leashed with a 6-foot maximum leash. (Other urban dog etiquette tips can be found here.)
