Geocache Description:

We all love a good FTF race around here.  How far have you traveled for a FTF?  We've all heard of FTF runs, climbs, drives, flights, and dives.  But how many of us have ever done an FTF launch?

On November 6th, astronaut Rick Mastracchio can say he has.

At 8:08pm PST that day, he'll head from Kazakhstan to the International Space Station, where he'll spend the next 6 months as a mission flight engineer, also assisting with research projects there.  (Read more about it here.)  And after a hard day of doing, uh, spacy stuff, he'll unwind by doing what all of us like to do here on earth: go caching.  As Geocaching HQ put it: "He’ll also earn the Solar System’s most elusive smiley."  That's right.  After 3 years, GC1BE91 will finally log its FTF!

In celebration of the occasion, which will also feature an out-of-this-world trackable adventure, a special souvenir is being awarded for attending events held on November 6th or 7th.  Join us for the worldwide FTF party!

Where: La Sirena Grill
... If there's not enough space (!) inside, there's also a nice outdoor area.
When: Thursday November 7th at 6:30pm
What: Food, friends, and perhaps grownup beverages.
Who: As in Doctor?

Hope to see you there!

Just what do you think you're doing, Dave?
Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do...
