This section of Sandy Lane is part of the original route of the road, which was later rerouted, and this section closed off to traffic and kept as a bridal path, although the original tarmac is still in place so the walkway part is suitable for wheelchairs, bikes and prams, but the actual cache location isn't. It is advisable to park Pinewood Avenue which is located on the other side of the A1056 and use the crossing point. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN CROSSING SANDY LANE AS TRAFFIC CAN BE FAST ON THIS ROAD.
This is a small tupperware box with enough space for a few swaps etc, logbook and pencil.
