In early November 2013, Geocaching is rocketing into space once again as Astronaut Rick Mastracchio delivers a Travel Bug to the International Space Station! Every geocacher who attends a Geocaching Event on November 6 or 7, 2013 will be awarded a “Geocaching in Space” souvenir
Flash mob = A group of people who assemble in a predetermined location, perform some brief action and then quickly disperse
In order to claim this event, you must be present near the Drummer sculpture on Lemon Quay, Truro and report to Mission Control during the 15 minutes of the event
At precisely 18:30 on Thursday 7th November 2013, Geocachers should converge at the above coordinates from dark corners, behind lamp posts, and other inconspicuous places. They should not acknowledge each other, but instead start moonwalking, taking giant leaps for mankind or pretending to float around in zero gravity! We will keep these shenanigans up for a few minutes after which we will then congregate for a group photo in front of the Drummer. Afterwards, although we will all disperse, everyone is welcome to call into the nearby hostelry for further geonattering!
