This cache will bring you to the backroads of Spencer County in an area that Abraham Lincoln used to wander. These backroads are adjacent to an area now set aside as a wetlands conservation area. NOTE: Do not use a blow dryer, fan, towel, or other device to attempt to dry these lands. They are supposed to be wet. Please help keep them that way!
You will also notice a set of high-powered electric lines cross through this area. If you listen closely, you can probably hear them buzzing. We suspect that this electricity flying around has changed some of the wildlife in the area, giving them special powers. In particular, we have found evidence that turtles in the area may have super powers. We’ve also discovered that some of them may be running around less-than-fully clothed. Please bare this in mind when caching with young children. You’ll be looking for a camo’d pill bottle with room for a log only. BYOP and have fun!
