Geocache Description:

Over the River and through the Woods, to Grandmother's house we go.
No need to go over a river or through the woods to get to this Grandmother's house.

Although the Bannaky/Banneker Family never lived here.
This restored farmhouse (circa 1855) was named in honor of Benjamin Banneker's Granmother, Molly Bannaky.

 

Welcome to Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum!

We invite you to come explore the park and all it has to offer.

The cache contains an educational insert about Molly Bannaky...
stop, read and learn more about this English dairymaid.

The park (142 acres and 6 miles of trails) is open sunrise to sunset...
The museum is open Tuesday thru Saturday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

We are Geocaching friendly with lots of parking.
