This is the final cache of a series, whose true co-ordinates shall only be revealed when you have located the other 6 caches, all of which contain a clue. The listed co-ordinates take you to the beginning of the railway line, at the Duthie Park end.
I've set this up to encourage you to come down to the Old Railway Line which starts at the top of Duthie Park, and goes all the way out to Ballater. It breaks at Culter, and I've still to find the joining section, but the line from Duthie Park to Culter is beautiful!
I love cycling this route to my work in the summer months, so as a result, the caches are spaced out along a section of the line between Duthie Park and Bieldside. It might be advisable to take your bike too, if you want to find all the clues in one go, or you could always break it up and visit different parts of the railway line at different times! I've tried to add in the different points of access to the line by the additional Waypoints to help with this.
The caches which form the set and provide the clues for this cache are:
- Hidden Railway Treasure - park side (GC4QP3D)
- Hidden Railway Treasure - bench view (GC4QP3X)
- Hidden Railway Treasure - FORE! has been archived. The clue for this one was: A=6
- Hidden Railway Treasure - take cover (GC4QP4R)
- Hidden Railway Treasure - Station Creation (GC4QP57)
- Hidden Railway Treasure - a quiet spot has been archived. The clue for this one was: E=4
Each cache is placed not far from the path, and contains a clue on the front of the log book to complete the final co-ordinates:
