Our cache is 'gated' and can be visited 8 am - 5 pm, Monday thru Friday, as a rule, though sometimes the gate is open at extended times for events, etc.
Our Cooperative Extension of UNLV is on an attractively landscaped campus--a lovely visit to a 'pocket park' with extensive, labeled plantings of native and arid region species. Nevada Naturalist classes are held there.
Volunteering around Southern Nevada's points of natural interest as a Nevada Naturalist has been an ongoing service we enjoy and feel others would, too.
Get out and enjoy these vast natural spaces, so close to home!
We are placing this cache to highlight both the Nevada Naturalist programs and our regional Wildlife Refuges, parks, preserves, Wilderness and Recreation Areas.
