I was hiking along these trails on my way to the cache "Hornbeck Shortcut" (GC3Z772) when I came across this area. There is a bench to sit on, a good view, and plenty of places to hide a cache, unfortunately i didn't have a container with me so I kept walking, found the cache I was going for, walked back to the car, got the container and hiked back to the location to hide the cache.
I won the container at Rat and Mushroom's Sixth Pay Back Event. I have been meaning to hide it somewhere but I wanted to find a good place for such a quality ammo can. I think I found a good spot. The hide is about 0.46 miles from parking but the trail is a little windy so it is probably more like a half a mile walk to get there. Also there are many potential hiding places in the area but I'm sure an experienced cacher will be able to find the hiding spot. Contains various trading items, a logbook, a pen, a couple of pencils, and a proxy trackable for whoever is FTF to move along if he or she chooses to do so.
