My father was a land surveyor and let's just say the apple didn't fall far from the tree. He (as well as I) could not tell you the difference between a noble fir, maple, oak, cypress, or any other tree.
Occasionally I would ask him: Dad, what type of tree is that? "Tis Wood" was always his reply."! Say it aloud a few times fast and you'll understand.
So if you are describing a cache to me and you throw out a tree name....you better be pointing right at it or I promise I'll miss it every time. No wood was harmed in the placing of this cache.
