Geocache Description:

During our long-awaited trip through Botswana (Jo’burg, Martinsdrift, Palapye, Khama Rhino Sanctuary, Kubu Island, Chobe Wildlife Reserve, Savuti, Moremi Wildlife Reserve …home) we came across some of the most amazing sights and places.  Often as a result of looking for a specific cache.  We left a few caches along our route in places we thought were special.

The cache is about two meters underground. Don’t worry, you do not have to dig!  Just ask the owner to open the gate. Oom Louw is a great guy.   After finding the cache, proceed down the passage and do your admin while viewing GROOTVOETE, or BIG FEET, of Elephant that is…  This place provides the most amazing vantage point from which to watch these incredible creatures.
