On the south-west side of the gravel road can be seen what remains of the No.2 Rabbit Proof Fence, made of rabbit netting and jam (wattle) posts. The State Barrier Fence of Western Australia, formerly known a the Rabbit Proof Fence, the State Vermin Fence, and the Emu Fence was constructed between 1901 and 1907 to keep rabbits and other agricultural pests, from the east, out of Western Australian pastoral areas.
You will need to be reasonably tall to find the small red cache. It contains a log and pencil.
Please be aware of passing traffic travelling East - West along the bitumen and North - South along the gravel.
