This hide is placed on a set of low mounds, in the middle of a wetland area. It's dry here at times, but during periods of heavy rain, the area floods and the best approach may not be the direct one. Follow the trail around and come in from the back side, for an easier route.
The search area provides a good number of possible hiding spots, please don't tear up the dirt mounds looking for the container.
The container is a small plastic jar, with room for a few small trade items, a log sheet and a pen. The summer insects are very active in this area.
