Geocache Description:

The cache IS at the posted coordinates but you must satisfy the challenge requirements before logging a find. Any find logs without supporting qualifications will be deleted.

In this part of the country trees are a large part of our caching experience, with caches frequently hidden in, on, under and around them. Many cache owners use the tree species as a hint (even if that information can be misleading!).  The rules are simple:

1) Find 30 caches of any type*
2) Each cache must include the name of one of these tree species in the title: Fir, Cedar, Pine, Hemlock, Maple, Oak, Birch and Alder
3) At least one of every species must be included
4) The tree names may not be part of another word, for example “Hemlock Hollow” is acceptable but “Alderwood Adventure” is not.
5) Previous finds and archived caches may be used to qualify.

Options for documenting your qualifications:

1) Create a public bookmark list with all of your qualifying caches and the dates you found them, and include this cache in your list.
2) You may post a note or found it log with your qualifying caches and the dates you found them.
3) Use the Project-GC checker created by mellow_cello (thanks!)
