Geocache Description:

This the first of a series I will be placing to link Helmshore with a walk to Irwell Vale, this cache is a Nano please bring a pen or pencil.

Located in the Helmshore Memorial Park locally known as Snig Hole Park you will find a clock tower that is the Helmshore & District War Memorial, The names of our local service men and women who sadly lost their lives in the first and second world wars are listed.

Please note the cache is not on the memorial or within the small garden around the Memorial ** Well done to elgjc3 for the FTF **
