Adding to the already great caches in Deep Run Park, enjoy the view from Eli's Lookout. This is our first cache ever, placed by my four year old grandson Eli. Perched on a hill created by a large fault, overlooking the location of the old coal pits railroad bed. The spot would be where a young boy would hang out watching the trains go by. It is not required to log this cache, but if you are interested you can visit this location just downhill at N 37° 37.522 W 077° 35.167 and read the sign about it. The old railroad bed is still clearly visible. This section of the park is a favorite haunt for dog walkers and runners. This is a small cache, but not a micro, and not that hard to find, so there is no hint. We will be placing patches in the cache from time to time. Please leave some of your own, or swap them out. Please leave pencil sharpener in cache. Be sure to be out by dark, as they lock the gates
