Geocaching in Space Flash Mob
November 6th, 2013 from 11:30-11:40 AM at Deer Creek Park
This event is a flash mob gathering of geocachers, only 10 minutes long! To claim the event, you must be present and drop a signed log sheet into the marked container during this time.
Geocaching is heading to the International Space Station (ISS). A very special little Travel Bug® named TB5JJN1 is tagging along with Nasa astronaut Rick Mastracchio on his mission to the ISS. Mastracchio will be using the Travel Bug as an educational tool to help teach students around the world about geography and geocaching. Mastraccio will Rocket into Space on November 7, 2013 (GMT). Every geocacher who attends a Geocaching Event on November 6 or 7, 2013 will be awarded a “Geocaching in Space” souvenir.

The event will begin precisely at 11:30 am on November 6th, 2013 and will last EXACTLY Ten minutes, not one second longer.
