Geocache Description:

As part of our endeavor to get the community out in some sunshine and get active we have placed several caches at various family friendly locations around the Campbelltown Council Area for your enjoyment.
The story of the lonely troll.

Once upon a time there lived a troll. A very sad troll – he became sad when none of the town people would talk to him. They all thought he was scary, so they kept away. But when they kept away, it made the troll feel sad and lonely.. and just a little bit scared.
One day, as he was wandering around his dry land - an idea came to him.
“Why not plant some trees and give the people a nice place to come and visit - then maybe the town people will talk to him.”
So he set off planting. He planted all the plants he thought his garden should have…

*River Red-Gums

*Banksia

*Malle Bush-Pea

*Vanilla Lilly

*Windmill Grass

*Sweet Bursaria

Then he laid a path through his wonderful new garden and even put in bench for the town people to sit at to enjoy his garden.
He smiled as he looked around - his garden was alive with so much colour, wonderful tall trees, and even a creek that flowed through the center of it – he loved it so much, he decided to stay and make it his home.
He built a little house under the nearby bridge so he can watch the town people as they wander past enjoying his garden.
He sees them smile - and he is no longer sad or scared or lonely…he is happy.. and will live happily ever after in his wonderful garden.
