Geocache Description:

In 2002, the Ontario government passed an act allowing the dedication of bridges along major highways in Ontario to those Ontario Police Officers (OPP) who died in the course of duty.

One such bridge is near the O'Brien Rd/ Hwy 60 exit at Highway 17.

It is named for Senior Constable Philip R. Shrive who passed away at the age of 49 on May 23rd., 2003 due to injuries sustained in an accident while on duty.

The cache is placed at the end of the guardrail on the south east end of the bridge.  Please use common sense when parking, preferably pulling over when headed eastbound.
