Dieser Multi führt euch durch die Altstadt von Labin.
Ihr solltet von Start bis Dose ca. 20-30 Minuten einplanen. Die Zeit variiert, je nachdem wie gut ihr Kopfrechnen, bzw. mit einem Taschenrechner umgehen könnt, wie gut ihr die Stationen in den engen Gässchen findet und wie lange ihr zwischendurch die Aussicht genießt :)
Parken könnt ihr bei N45° 5.088 E14° 7.313. Laut Laponia ist hier mittlerweile ein offizielles Skidata System verbaut, es muss also vermutlich das ganze Jahr über gezahlt werden. Laponia zahlte 15kn (ca 2€) für 1,5 - 2 Stunden
Ich kann das nicht bestätigen oder widerlegen - ich war ne Weile nicht mehr in der Gegend!

Station 1 - N45° 5.148 E14° 7.357
Hinter einer der zahlreichen Kanonen aus alter Zeit findet ihr einen Ort, der wohl hauptsächlich für die männlichen Besucher errichtet wurde.
Ihr findet einige Worte, die auf dem Objekt eingemeißelt sind. (12 Buchstaben)
Nehmt die jeweiligen Buchstabenwerte und setzt diese in die Formel ein. (1. = Buchstabenwert des ersten Buchstaben, usw.)

Station 2 - N45°5.X E14° 7.Y
Durch einige kleine Gassen kommt ihr zum Francowić Palast. Dort findet ihr eine sog. ’Gedenksammlung’ an den berühmten Bewohner Istriens, Matija Vlačić Ilirik, einem Gefährten Martin Luthers, und einer dazugehörigen Tafel mit zusätzlichen Informationen.

Station 3 - N45° 5.CDA E14° 7.FEH
Hier befindet ihr euch an einer der vielen Aussichtspunkte von Labin. Im Norden befindet sich Podlabin, die Unterstadt. Ihr wendet euren Blick aber nach Osten. Ihr blickt aufs Meer, eine Bucht und einen Ort mit Hafen. Um welchen kleinen Ort handelt es sich hier? Wandelt die Buchstaben wieder in ihre Wertigkeit im Alphabet um.

Hier stand früher die Kirche des heiligen Justus, heute findet ihr nur noch einen Glockenturm, den ihr, je nach Saison, für ein paar Kuna besichtigen könnt. Dies ist einer der Türme, die Napoleon zur schnellen Informationsweitergabe nutzte. Folglich könnt ihr von jedem Turm mindestens einen weiteren in einem anderen Ort sehen.

Begebt euch nun zur “Pfarrkirche der Geburt der seligen Jungfrau Maria“ in der Altstadt. Dieser Ort sollte auch ohne Koordinaten gut zu finden sein :)
Der Markuslöwe über dem Haupteingang hält mit seiner Pfote ein Buch. Dieses Gebilde ist an vielen Kirchen in Istrien zu sehen, doch das Besondere an diesem ist, dass es sich hierbei um eine Skulptur, nicht nur um ein Relief handelt. Ebenfalls bedeutend ist, dass das Buch dieser Skulptur eines der Wenigen in ganz Istrien ist, das geöffnet dargestellt ist. Dies kommt daher, dass diese Kirche nicht zu Kriegszeiten errichten wurde und somit Handel betrieben werden konnte.

Hier findet ihr eine Büste zu Ehren Guiseppina Martinuzzi in der „A(l)lee der verdienten Labiner“. Hier werden die Bewohner Labins geehrt, die ihr Leben für die Menschenrechte und der Freiheit gewidmet haben.

Jetzt geht ihr noch (Z-A)*K*O*T Meter nach Westen und ihr werdet einen kleinen Petling finden.

This little multi will take you on a tour around Labin Old Town.
It will take about 20-30 minutes, depending on, how well you are with calculating, how fast you can find the stations in the really narrow streets and how long you will rest and just take a look around :)

Parking information by Laponia (July 2014):
At the parking coordinates is now a parking lot with skidata system - so I assume, that parking fees has to be paid the whole year round. We paid 15 Kn for about 1,5 or 2 hours that we have spent in Labin.
I can not confirm or deny this, haven't been around for a while!

Behind one of the canons, you will find a spot, which might be only built for male visitors.
You will find some words, which are engraved in the object. Take the values of each letter (1. = value of the first letter, and so on)

Via some small alleys you will reach ‘Francowić Palast’. There you will find a so called ’remembrance collection’ to one of the most famous residents of Istria, Matija Vlačić Ilirik, a follower of Martin Luther, and an associated panel with more information.

Here you are at one of the viewpoints of Labin. North of here, you can see ‘Podlabin’. Look to the East. You will see the sea, a bay and a village with harbour.

In the early days, the Church of Saint Just stood here. Nowadays you can find the Saint Just Bell-Tower here, which you can visit for a small amount of Kuna. This is one of the towers, Napoleon used for fast long distance information transmission. Therefore you can see a minimum of one tower in another village from each of the towers.

Now you walk to the “Nativity of the blessed virgin Mary parochial church”, which you should easily find without coordinates.
The Marcuslion above the main entrance is holding a book in his claw. You can see this figure on many churches in Istria, but the specialty of this one is that this one is a sculpture and not just a relief. Also famous is that this is one of only a few where the book is shown open. This results of the time, when the church was built. This church, which was not built during wartime and so the residents of Istria were able to merchandise. When was the church reconstructed? TUVW

Here you will find a bust in honor of Guiseppina Martinuzzi in “Labin´s great men and women alley”. It’s dedicated to the residents of Labin, which dedicated their lives to human rights and freedom.
