Halfway House Traditional Cache

Halfway House is halfway there!!

It is a shame that the new High Speed 2 railway will cut this area in half in a few years time, draining the lakes and wiping out all the gains after years of work by mother nature.

This cache isn't far from cache named Waverley 1 so if you are doing the Waverley series starting at No.1 thro to Waverly 4 stick to the red gravel paths around the site.

This is a pleasant walk underfoot even in bad weather and lovely in the snow. Dog walkers please cleanup and help preserve the natural environment.
This cache is a small container with just a logbook inside. There isnt any space for swops or travel bugs but if it becomes used I will replace it with a bigger container.
