There has been much speculation as to the purpose of single or small groups of standing stones. This Standing Stone is well worth a visit as the views are outstanding from this slightly elevated location. It is very relaxing looking over Loch Stenness taking in the scenery and picking out the surrounding landmarks which are visited by people from all over the world.
