Blast Off for Burgers!
Geocaching is heading to the International Space Station and a very special Travel Bug, "International Space Station Travel Bug II by the 5th Grade Class of Chase Elementary School-Waterbury, CT", is tagging along with Nasa astronaut Rick Mastracchio! Mastracchio, also known to geocachers as AstroRM, will be using the Travel Bug as an educational tool to help teach students around the world about geography and geocaching. Mastraccio will Rocket into Space on November 6, 2013 at 10:08 pm (CDT). Every geocacher who attends a Geocaching Event on November 6 or 7, 2013 will be awarded a “Geocaching in Space” souvenir.
Come celebrate this mission with us by blasting off for burgers!
The event will take place on November 6th at 7:00 pm at "Culver's" in Norfolk, NE
Culver's offers an assortment of goodies, but no purchase is required to join in the fun.
Please try to let us know in advance if you plan to be there by posting a "Will Attend" so we can have tables ready.
