Let’s have a picnic!

Picnic lovers of the world - unite!

This cache will attract picnic lovers from all around the world to a real picnic heaven, to Borkovac. Borkovac is a famous picnic „center“ in southern Vojvodina. It is located in Srem district, 2 km away from Ruma, 40 km from Novi Sad and 60 km from Belgrade.

A part of Borkovac is covered with a nice forest (here the cache is hidden), where you can enjoy walking in deep shadows during summer. If you follow an asphalt road north, some 800 meters far lies the Borkovac lake, an artificial reservoir, long about 2.5 km.

Thanks to artificially reared fish this lake offers plenty of enviable specimens of carp, catfish, perch etc. One can spend really fine time fishing on the shore of the lake, or, if you prefer something extra-special, there are four “floating houses” on your service, you just choose.
